How to apply dipping powder with Gel Liquids
HOW TO APPLY DIPPING POWDER WITH GEL LIQUIDS
1. PREP NAILS
Buff the natural nail to get a rough surface. Push back and clean around your cuticles. (Optional) Apply a coat of PREP/BOND to the nails to help prevent lifting, let completely dry.
2. GEL BASE FIRST COAT
Shake well before use. Apply one thin coat of GEL BASE COAT to your nail and then lay your nail into the dip powder or pour the dip powder over your nail. Clean around your cuticle with a CUTICLE CLEANER/DOTTING TOOL.
Cure for 30 seconds in a LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
3. GEL BASE SECOND COAT
Repeat Steps 2 until desired opacity and strength is reached.
4. SHAPE AND BUFF
Shape and buff the nail until desired shape and smoothness is reached, wipe with isopropyl alcohol on a lint free wipe to remove any dust
5. GEL BASE THIRD COAT
Apply GEL BASE COAT, Cure for 30 seconds in a LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
6. TOP COAT
Apply one thin coat of GEL QUARTZ TOP COAT for a super shiny top coat or GEL MATTE TOP COAT for a gorgeous matte finish. Cure for 30 seconds in a LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
PRO TIPS
- Shake bottles well before use
- Paint thin layers
- Only do one or two nails at a time to avoid lumpy nails caused by the gel running before you have cured it.
